"Charming, melody pop from Santa Dog on this 7". It this lot'd been around 15 years ago they'd deffo been on 4AD, such is the quality on show! "Big Bang" brings to mind the drama of Suede and the cooler pop moments of Blondie. With a dollop of Smiths-like chime and the shimmering lustre of vocalist Rowena, it's a winning combination. Flip side "Are You Hot Enough" once again has a Debbie Harry feel with a hypnotic drive. Highly recommended." |
