"Excellent second single from Sheffield's Rotary Ten. The arrangement of 'We Travelled Without Mentioning It', draws comparison with the early works of The Smiths, with it's chiming guitars and clever changes of pace. Add to the that an excellent vocal performance, which is both forceful and light-of-touch and, without wanting to sound over effusive, the effect is simply divine. B Side 'Your Hands, Our Stares' is a jangly, lovelorn affair that shimmys in and out of the sunlight like a poppier Cure number."
