"This is a fine album from Stoke DIY-indie-poppers Horowitz. It skips between lofi-noise, jangly guitar workouts, acoustic slowies and slacker anthems. The range of songs has such a width of influence, that I reckon Horowitz must be a bunch of underground-indie obsessives, which is clearly a GOOD THING. Not that they are just copyists, no-no. There's a depth to the songwriting that shines over & above their influences (which probably include the likes of Pavement, Velvet Crush, Razorcuts, Hefner, Sonic Youth, Belle & Sebastian, The Aisler Set and so on.) It's a smashing album that I urge you to check out."
