Thee SPC Say
Excellent second single from Sheffield's Rotary Ten. The arrangement of 'We Travelled Without Mentioning It', draws comparison with the early works of The Smiths, with it's chiming guitars and clever changes of pace. Add to the that an excellent vocal performance, which is both forceful and light-of-touch and, without wanting to sound over effusive, the effect is simply divine. B Side 'Your Hands, Our Stares' is a jangly, lovelorn affair that shimmys in and out of the sunlight like a poppier Cure number.
A Selection of Reviews
"Rotarty Ten are reaching unblinkingly for the stars and getting there too through a haze of chop-pop." Playlouder
"Not only brave enough to spin out a more innovative, serious brand of rock, they're also the most original band to be waiting to burst out of Sheffield. This deserves some serious attention." Manchestermusic
