Excellent debut single from this Sheffield band. Rotary Ten play infectious and melodic alternative indie, like a cross between the early works of both Bloc Party and The Smiths. Lyrically dark, yet at the same time incredibly uplifting, "Idols Of Our Own Design" showcases Rotary Ten's ability to combine chiming/reverberating guitars with driving rhythm and anthemic hooks.
